Porcelain Doll

Porcelain doll…lifeless…statuesque.

Primp and proper, not a tear on her dress.

Upright, stoic…strike a pose.

Flawless skin, not a hair out of place.

Shoulders back, neck so stiff…smile…painted on face.

…admired…coveted…

Oh, the illusion of the porcelain doll.

    1. Thank you, Mike! I write everyday on paper. My brain is always going, so I kinda dump some of the thoughts on paper to unclutter and make room for more…haha! Starting this blog was part of “my process” of trusting my voice to the “outside”. I appreciate your likes, comments and the follow.
